The inspectorate will host two seminars for school leaders. One will take place in Carrick on Shannon Education Centre on November 9th and the other in Laois Education Centre on November 14th. Both will run from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, with lunch available from 1.30pm, and are open to all school leaders, regardless of location.
The title of the seminars will be Leading Teaching and Learning through School Self-Evaluation. They will be presented by members of the Inspectorate and are for post-primary school leaders involved in leading SSE in their schools (principals, deputy principals and others involved in leading the process). They will focus on the use of Looking at Our School 2016 to support and inform the SSE process, and will provide an opportunity for participants to discuss and reflect on their school’s progress with SSE to date, and where they would like the process to bring them into the future.
Schools may nominate up to three people to attend; however, these numbers may have to be limited depending on demand. For booking click on the relevant centre – Carrick on Shannon Education Centre or Laois Education Centre.
